A deep canyon located in the Gryphon Mountains with ruins of statues of ancient figures from Fortunata’s legend, myth and history. Tombs and barrows are rumored to lie beneath some of these statues.
Spanned by the Sovereign Bridge, which was built by the first Sovereigns Fair as an embodiment of the perils of monarchy - and as a test.
To rule as a monarch is to navigate a treacherous landscape - ergo, many of the stones on the bridge are not stones at all, and will vanish when you step on them.
When one is a monarch, the ground always seems to be shifting under one’s feet; ergo, the safe path across the bridge will change with each crossing, and cannot be memorized.
Carved into the stone at either end is an inscription:
